At SM Development Corporation (SMDC), we are seeking an experienced Assistant Interior Design Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and monitoring the deliverables of external ID consultants. This includes facilitating design coordination meetings with external ID consultants, Project Development group, and other departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design management, with experience in reviewing documents such as inter-office memos, initial ID layouts, notice to proceed, and proposals/contracts.

A licensed interior designer or architect with 4+ years of work experience in project/design management is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate design meetings and review external ID consultants' deliverables
  • Review accreditations, contracts, and billings of external ID consultants
  • Manage ID consultants' timeliness in providing design deliverables
  • Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • Licensed Interior Designer/Interior Architect
  • 4+ years of work experience in Project/Design Management field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp
  • Strength in Design Management, plan review, and coordination
