Job Description

At RecruiterPH, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event stand design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team

We are looking for someone who can work closely with our creative team to understand client requirements and concepts for event stands. This includes communicating effectively to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards a common goal.

Work Closely with Architects and Designers

The successful candidate will need to be able to work effectively with architects and designers to understand project requirements and design intent. This includes reviewing and providing feedback on designs to ensure they meet the required standards.

Create Detailed Technical Drawings

We require someone who can create detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details for stand build-up. These drawings must be precise and accurate, and the candidate should be proficient in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.

Collaborate with the Project Team

The candidate will need to work closely with the project team to review drawings and resolve any design or technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with Suppliers and Stakeholders

We are looking for someone who can coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for drawings. This includes communicating effectively to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date throughout the project.

Ensure Compliance with Building Codes and Regulations

The successful candidate will need to ensure that all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. This includes staying up-to-date with changes to these standards and adapting drawings accordingly.

Provide Clear Documentation

We require someone who can provide clear and concise documentation for production and construction teams. This includes creating detailed instructions and guides to help teams understand the design intent and requirements.

Research and Recommend Materials

The candidate will need to research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and components for event stands, considering factors such as durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal.

Identify and Address Design Challenges

We are looking for someone who can identify and address design challenges and provide innovative solutions that meet client expectations and budget constraints.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-6 Years of Experience

We require a minimum of 5-6 years of experience as a draftsman in the event and exhibition industry. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry-standard software and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical drawings.

Proficiency in Industry-Standard Software

The successful candidate will need to be proficient in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools. They should also have a strong understanding of materials, construction techniques, and industry best practices for event stand design.
