Citigroup Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Deputy Officer, Fixed Assets Accounting in Manila, Philippines. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the management and control of data flows to and within Finance applications, ensuring the integrity and completeness of data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record financial transactions, and update the general ledger in accordance with management reporting requirements for legal vehicle & regulatory purposes.\
  • Identify and resolve problems using independent judgment for assigned products/business.\
  • Implement workflow or process change and redesign; and uses a strong basic understanding of the specific function.\
  • Be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as "owner".\
  • Focus primarily on execution within defined parameters.\
  • Assist in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products.\
  • Direct day-to-day work of junior level employees; mentors, coaches, trains and oversees progress of FA analysts.\
  • Apart from the core responsibilities mentioned above, we are looking for someone who has:\

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance with commensurate stakeholder management experience.\
    • Knowledge in Fixed Assets Process.\
    • Ability to handle high volume of work & adapt to change.\
    • Ability to rapidly learn technical and business techniques and knowledge.\
    • Self-motivated and detail oriented.\
    • Leadership potential and good supervisory skills.\
    • Strong team player, willing to learn and share experience with other team members.\
    • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.\
    • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.\
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.\
    • Willing to work on mid-shift schedule.\
    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.\
