Vestas is a leading company in the supply chain and logistics industry. We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to join our team in Pasay, Philippines.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sourcing activities, negotiating with suppliers, and facilitating tenders. You will also work closely with our global and regional procurement organizations to ensure that our purchasing activities are aligned with our overall business strategy.

Responsibilities
- Conduct sourcing activities (RFx) with agreed vendors and negotiate to reach the best possible outcome
- Participate or facilitate the selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers within the category
- Facilitate tenders and/or assist in the development of supply agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, purchasing agreements, framework agreements, etc.
- Optimize the current supply base, including cost by doing cost-outs or savings initiatives
- Work across different business units within Vestas and provide input to and implementation of the category/regional procurement strategies

Qualifications
- Academic degree in engineering or business studies
- 3-5 years of work experience in Purchasing or another position requiring professional coordination and business skills
- Great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Focused and solution-oriented problem solver
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
