We are seeking an experienced Junior Java Developer to join our team of experts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a focus on Spring Boot.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services, contributing to the full software development life cycle, and addressing technical issues in our current stack.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Contribute to the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Engage in code reviews and mentoring sessions to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Address and improve any technical issues in our current stack

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong grasp of Spring Boot
  • 3+ years working in a senior developer role, including demonstrated examples of contribution to technical design, implementation, and testing
  • Experience in full-stack development, including front-end technologies (experience with AngularJS is a bonus)
  • Experience with test-driven development, preferably BDD (behaviour-driven development), including processes and common frameworks such as Cucumber
  • Experience with microservices, ideally using JHipster
  • Preferably, some experience of upgrading from earlier versions of Spring Boot
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
