Content Creator - Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled video editor to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form content for various social media platforms.

  • You will work closely with the founder to develop and implement a visual strategy that showcases the organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Edit 4–5 short-form videos (20 seconds each) weekly using raw footage from Google Drive, incorporating basic edits like captions, transitions, and light branding.
  • Design simple, on-brand graphics and maintain a natural, authentic visual style across all content.
  • Write compelling captions, schedule posts for peak engagement, and publish to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder for approvals, take creative feedback well, and make necessary revisions.
Requirements:
  • Skilled in video editing tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
  • Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts.
  • Strong eye for visuals and storytelling through video.
  • Able to create content matching brand tone for kids to young adults.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and good at managing time independently.
  • Portfolio with relevant short-form video and social media examples.
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of youth trends and content.
  • Creative and able to work with little supervision.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other editing tools.
