The position of Accounting Manager is responsible for developing accounting policies and procedures, overseeing daily accounting operations, and managing full-cycle month-end closes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management: Review invoices for proper coding and pay invoices after client approval.
  • Accounts Receivable and Cash Management: Oversee the AR cycle, review weekly cash flow forecasts, and monitor cash flow to make recommendations.
  • Daily Bookkeeping: Manage weekly transaction cycles and maintain data room organization.
  • People Operations: Facilitate transition support staff on clients and review payroll processing according to the client's schedule.
  • Month-End Close: Review bank and credit card reconciliations and run lead on month-end close procedures.
  • Compliance: Review compliance filings, assist accountants with tax returns and audits, and manage 1099 filings.
  • Communication and Team Management: Work cross-functionally, maintain timely communication with clients and team, and foster an inclusive environment.
