Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial planning and analysis specialist to join our team. This is a key role in helping us drive business growth through strategic financial planning and decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and timely financial reports, models, and dashboards that inform business decisions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights
  • Provide financial recommendations to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data and processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience with financial statement production and/or analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure
  • Strategic mindset with ability to understand financial implications of key decisions
  • Strong communication skills in written, spoken, and visualization mediums
  • Experience working with technical teams
  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Working toward or having completed a financial designation (CPA, CFA, etc.)
  • Experience working with budgeting & reporting software
  • Knowledge of the inner workings of the payments ecosystem
