Job Description:

I. JOB PURPOSE

The Portfolio Management Head is a strategic leader responsible for managing the product portfolio of Generika Drugstore and overseeing the organization's supply chain. This position plays a critical role in ensuring Generika's portfolio is responsive to its Target Market's actual and emerging needs, as well as the efficient and cost-effective flow of merchandise within the organization's ecosystem, from sourcing and procurement, warehousing, and distribution.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Product Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product development strategy that aligns with market demand and drives growth and profitability.
  • Lead the development of new products and services, ensuring alignment with market demand and driving growth and profitability.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with market demand and driving growth and profitability.
Trade Strategy and Implementation:
  • Lead the development of the overall trade strategy for Generika's portfolio of products and create trade programs to execute on the strategy.
  • Drive implementation of trade programs in coordination with Marketing and RPU.
  • Implement strategies and programs for housebrands to increase sales and profitability and support building their equity as brands.
