Paraplanning Specialist

This is a dynamic and autonomous role requiring meticulous attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with compliance requirements.
• Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
• Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) for property investment.
• Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
• Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
• Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
• Adapt to and learn new financial planning software, with training provided for Intelliflow.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
• Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic (experience with Intelliflow is an advantage but training will be provided).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

• Be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours.
• Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work. We do not allow our candidates to have multiple clients at the same time.
