At METRO GEAR CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment units.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will work closely with multiple disciplines to ensure that all heavy equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and serviced. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  2. Conducting thorough inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential issues or defects
  3. Servicing and repairing heavy equipment as needed, working with vendors and suppliers when necessary
  4. Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 2 years' experience in driving heavy equipment units and hold a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
