Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Developer - Cloud & IoT to join our growing team. As a key member of our development squad, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend solutions using Azure cloud services. Your expertise in Blazor, C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, and other relevant technologies will be invaluable as we push the boundaries of what is possible with cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Backend Solutions: Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement robust backend systems using Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure SQL Database. Ensure seamless integration with frontend applications and IoT devices.
  2. User Interface Development: Utilize your skills in Blazor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to craft intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web and Windows applications.
  3. IoT Integration: Develop and integrate Bluetooth device functionalities into our applications, guaranteeing seamless connectivity and an exceptional user experience.
  4. API Development: Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and backend services to support frontend applications and IoT integrations.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user-centric design principles in application development, and collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
  6. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Assist in optimizing application performance and troubleshooting issues across the full stack.
  7. Knowledge Sharing and Professional Growth: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, actively participating in knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing to code reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with C#, .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, and interest in learning Blazor framework.
  • Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Interest in Bluetooth device development and integration into software applications.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Preferred qualifications include academic or internship experience in web and Windows application development, exposure to Azure cloud services or other cloud platforms, familiarity with IoT concepts and protocols, familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, understanding of UI/UX design principles and usability standards, and passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to innovative projects.
