Finance Process Improvement Manager

ModSquad seeks a Finance Process Improvement Manager to collaborate with our Enterprise Applications team. This role will guide process enhancements, automations, system integrations, and system administration with a focus on financial operations.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes as well as the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with finance and payroll/payments team members to identify and implement improvements to business processes.
  • Collaborating with the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Maintaining, configuring, and optimizing SaaS technologies to support financial operations.
  • Preparing documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
  • Project managing change initiatives to ensure optimal results and a thorough understanding of the work being undertaken.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to financial systems and implementing solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
  • Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of core financial processes.
  • Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.
