Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

This is a critical position that requires strong expertise in cloud computing, containerization, and DevOps practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of applications, as well as collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and provide guidance on best practices.

You will also be responsible for improving the change management process, providing status updates, and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders. Additionally, you will develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, and monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS services
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of applications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience working as a DevOps Engineer or SRE Engineer in a production environment
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
  • Solid understanding of source code management with GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Helm
  • Basic scripting skills in languages such as Node.JS
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like EKS is a plus
