Responsibilities- Lead Event Planning Team: Oversee the successful handling of social event leads, contracting and implementing under the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director of Events.
- Communicate Effectively: Ensure effective communication with clients and efficient coordination with key departments concerned.
- Sales and Profitability: Oversees Events profitability through effective planning, selling and merchandising.
- Customer Service: Establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
- Site Inspections and Sales: Conducts site inspections and sales activities as required.
- Subcontractors: Assists the organizers, referrals and recommendations for outside subcontractors.
- Promotions: Keeps abreast of promotions throughout the hotel to help increase sales.
- Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
- Reports to the Assistant Director of Events.
- Coordinates with all concerned personnel to ensure that all activities are accomplished.
- Communicates effectively with guests, clients, business partners and staff.
- Represents Dusit's brand and its values at all times, delivering exceptional guest experiences and promoting Thai graciousness.
