Business Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Process Improvement Specialist. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and streamline processes by building scalable internal applications.


The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically PowerApps and Power Automate, as well as strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and integration techniques. Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, SQL, and REST APIs is also desired.


Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
  • Create and manage automated workflows using Power Automate
  • Integrate PowerApps with SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and external APIs
  • Customize and extend PowerApps using PowerFx or JavaScript
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and transform them into functional applications
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance in the app environment
  • Document solutions and train end users as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, and Business Analysts
  • Support ongoing app enhancements and troubleshooting

Qualifications
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, especially PowerApps and Power Automate
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and integration techniques
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and/or SQL
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, PowerShell, or custom connectors
  • Background in automation and process improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
