Key Job Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will effectively manage the underwriting process, retention, and generic inbox to ensure efficient processing or direct work to team members. They will respond to requests for quotes from advisors in a timely manner, ensuring that quotes are correct and proposal packages are sent back to advisors within the specified turnaround time.

  • Manage underwriting process to ensure efficient processing
  • Respond to requests for quotes from advisors
  • Ensure accurate quotes and timely proposal submissions
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a medical underwriter with medical terminology knowledge or healthcare field experience
  • Bachelor's degree in medical or healthcare-related field or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Insurance and underwriting knowledge and expertise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to comprehend customer concerns or problems
  • Customer service skills to build rapport, demonstrate empathy, and outline key steps in delivering good customer service
