Accounting Operations Specialist

As an accounting operations specialist, you will play a key role in managing multi-company accounting processes with strong knowledge of accounts payable practices and proficiency in QuickBooks. This remote position requires expertise in managing vendor invoices, coordinating intercompany transactions, implementing tracking systems for vendor payments, and reconciling financial records to avoid payment delays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and streamline accounts payable processes for multiple companies.
  • Process, verify, and record vendor invoices accurately in QuickBooks.
  • Coordinate intercompany transactions between mechanical and transport divisions.
  • Implement and maintain effective tracking systems for vendor payments.
  • Collaborate with the service writer to ensure proper documentation.
  • Reconcile financial records to prevent payment delays.
  • Develop and document improved financial workflows.
  • Generate regular accounts payable and vendor reports.
  • Maintain accurate digital financial records.
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies proactively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with North American clients.
  • Advanced QuickBooks proficiency.
  • Experience managing multi-company accounting operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Proven ability to improve processes and document systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
