Financial Analyst and Reporting Specialist Job Description

The role of a Financial Analyst and Reporting Specialist involves providing critical support to organizations by delivering financial insights, analysis, and reporting. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for finance, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Advanced Financial Models: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making. These models will enable clients to make informed decisions about investments, funding, and growth strategies.
  • KPI Dashboards and Performance Tracking: Design and implement effective KPI dashboards and performance tracking tools to monitor and analyze key metrics. This will provide clients with real-time visibility into their operations and enable them to optimize performance.
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Automate manual processes in Excel, Power Query, and other platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. This will free up time for more strategic activities and enable clients to focus on high-value tasks.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity. This will provide clients with the insights they need to make informed decisions about their finances.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly valued.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Proficiency: The successful candidate will possess advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Power Query, and other relevant tools.
