Job Title: Front-End WordPress Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for designing and building the user interface of our website. To excel in this role, you should have an advanced understanding of web development principles, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind
  • transform app designs into reusable code using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • work collaboratively with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
  • debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
  • manage search engine optimization (SEO)
  • write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
  • stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

REQUIREMENTS:

  • at least 4+ years' experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap
  • proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
  • familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS
  • expertise in ACF and Gutenberg
  • basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • working knowledge of SEO principles
  • experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
  • basic proficiency with Figma
  • cross-browser compatibility testing experience
  • responsive web design experience
  • familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards

  • proficiency in Sketch and Invision
  • experience in Webflow
  • development experience with other tools and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot
