Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Water Treatment Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of water and wastewater treatment projects.

About This Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned Process Engineer looking to take on new responsibilities and make a meaningful contribution to our organization.

  • You will oversee the design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and turnover of water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to address potential impacts on cost, schedule, and scope.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for testing, inspections, and calibrations.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Manage project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations.
Process Design and Engineering
  • Design and develop innovative water treatment systems, considering factors such as efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, analyzing site-specific conditions and selecting suitable technologies.
  • Prepare comprehensive design packages, including technical specifications, drawings, and calculations.
Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Optimize treatment processes, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing downtime.
  • Implement and maintain effective maintenance programs, extending equipment lifespan and reducing costs.
  • Provide expert guidance on operational best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Client and Stakeholder Management
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND STAKEHOLDERS through regular communication, transparency, and responsiveness.
  • DELIVER HIGH-QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE by addressing concerns, providing solutions, and exceeding expectations.
Proposal Development
  • DEVELOP COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSALS that showcase your expertise and provide value to clients.
  • COLLABORATE WITH SUPPLIERS AND PROCUREMENT TEAM to ensure accurate specifications and competitive pricing.
Site Visits and Audits
  • CONDUCT ON-SITE VISITS TO EVALUATE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • PROVIDE EXPERT GUIDANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS based on audit findings, ensuring optimal system performance and compliance with regulations.
