We are seeking a seasoned US Tax professional to join our organization as a Tax Trainer. This role combines technical expertise, client engagement, and people development.

This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can support clients by designing and delivering training programs on US Federal Tax regulations, compliance, and preparation techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver structured training programs on US Federal Tax regulations, compliance, and preparation techniques.
  • Design engaging learning materials such as manuals, presentations, and online resources to support learning.
  • Conduct workshops and interactive sessions to simplify complex tax concepts and improve knowledge retention.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and refine content based on feedback and results.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support as associates apply their learning to real client work.

As a Tax Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring confidence in the performance of offshore US Tax associates by reviewing corporate and partnership tax returns.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in US Federal Tax preparation and compliance, with focus on corporate and/or partnership returns.
  • Prior experience in reviewing and supervising tax associates' work.
  • Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring others is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with a range of US tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, Drake, Lacerte, ProSystem, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with e-learning platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for developing others.
