Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role is provided by a leading business process outsourcing company. Your actual compensation will be based on your skills and experience — discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

$5.00/hr - $6.00/hr

Job Summary
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements accurately and promptly.
    - Ensure proper authorization and compliance with company policies before payment.
    - Schedule and prepare payments via Ramp or Bill.com.
    - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
    - Maintain organized records of payments and vendor files.
    - Assist in month-end closing by preparing AP-related reports.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • - Generate and send customer invoices in accordance with contract terms.
    - Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding receivables.
    - Apply customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
    - Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
    - Reconcile AR ledger and support month-end reporting processes.
  • Payroll Responsibilities:
  • - Review and approve payroll runs.
    - Review payroll reports for exceptions prior to processing.
  • Requirements:
  • - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    - 2–3 years of experience in an AP/AR or general accounting role.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite, Sage).
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    - Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
    - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • - Experience with accounting systems.
    - Familiarity with internal controls and accounting standards.
    - Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
