Senior Occupational Therapist Role

  • Assess and intervene with paediatric clients in a centre setting.
  • Set goals for Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and develop intervention strategies.
  • Train parents and school teachers to generalise learnings at home and in school.
  • Experience in Sensory Integration and Behaviour Management is essential.
Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to support regional clinical development as a Training Director.

  • Degree and certification as an Occupational Therapist, registered with AHPC.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with paediatric clients.
  • Experience in group therapy in early intervention programs.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements

A background in sensory integration and behaviour management would be advantageous.
