The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is seeking a seasoned expert to join its team as a Markets Development Advisory Specialist.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with experience in developing infrastructure projects, including Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and climate financing. The successful candidate will contribute to ADB's operations related to advisory and markets development, formulating and implementing policies, strategies, transactions, and programs.

The ideal candidate will lead internal processes for approval and implementation of Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) mandates and market development activities, which include preparation of related project documents. They will also undertake PPP and PSD market research activities, identifying constraints and providing solutions for promoting PSD/PPP policies, operations, and regulatory frameworks in ADB's Developing Member Countries.

The role requires strong relationships with governments, development partners, civil society, and private sector entities within your responsibilities. You will help prepare country partnership strategies, country management teams, and provide inputs and feedback to support ADB's PPP and PSD operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of ADB's operations related to advisory and markets development.
  • Formulate and implement policies, strategies, transactions, and programs.
  • Lead internal process for approval and implementation of TAS mandates and market development activities.
  • Undertake PPP and PSD market research activities.
