International Payment Operations Specialist

A reputable financial organization is seeking a skilled finance professional to oversee and optimize international payment operations. This role involves managing cross-border payments, bank transfers, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across diverse banking networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end processing of cross-border and multi-currency payments and bank transfers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with international banks and payment service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, monitor compliance standards, and implement best practices in cross-border payments.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts, monitor transaction discrepancies, and generate detailed reports on payment activities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payment workflows, optimize transaction costs, and enhance operational efficiency through the use of modern payment technologies and tools.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to support financial planning, budgeting, and audit processes related to international transactions.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing multi-country payments, bank transfers, or similar financial operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of international banking systems, multi-currency payment processing, and financial reconciliation software.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments in different regions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Arabic beneficial.
