Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will also be responsible for managing and executing all necessary applications for regulatory compliance, including Licenses to Operate (LTOs), Certificates of Product Registration (CPRs), Public-Private Audits and other related regulatory licenses and/or permits.
In addition, you will conduct regular reviews and audits of systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, and lead and participate in regulatory, third-party, and customer audits.
You will also be responsible for training and development, designing and delivering tailored training programs on Food Safety, Quality, and other relevant topics for both internal staff and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor degree in BS Food Science/Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any science-related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in Quality Assurance in the Food Manufacturing Industry or related discipline.
- Knowledge on FDA Applications - LTO and CPR is a must.
- Strong background in Food Safety Systems: GMP, HACCP, FSSC is required.
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and safety/health programs.
- Knowledge of plant-wide inspections and auditing functions.
- Physical effort: moderate (10-20 kg).
- Working conditions and hazards: normal office environment, occasional exposure to disagreeable elements.
