Job Title: Cloud Engineering Manager

This role is responsible for managing a growing engineering team to optimize the quality and velocity of both development and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high-performing team of engineers to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team health and success.
  • Implement disciplined engineering processes to drive consistency and quality.
  • Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams.
  • Ensure proper focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering).
  • Proven track record of experience in software delivery and/or managing operations teams.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as OpenStack.
  • Strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality.
  • Experience with Linux system administration and Ubuntu/Debian.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Agile software development methodologies.
  • Distributed team management.
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud topologies and technologies.
