Job Title:

Data Operations Specialist


Phitopolis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DataOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves monitoring and supporting data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L1 support for data pipeline alerts on communication channels.
  • Escalate and provide L2 support when required.
  • Manage pipelines using workflow orchestration tools across multiple environments
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical skills required include proficiency with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, experience with scheduling tools, strong understanding of data quality checks and operational monitoring, familiarity with communication and collaboration tools.

Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for reporting and escalation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • A sense of urgency and ownership is necessary for dealing with real-time production issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar operational support role or related field.
  • Familiarity with financial market data and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and system integration.
Work Schedule:

The ideal candidate will have flexible shift availability, be able to work any shift in a 24/7 environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Shift rotation may occur on a weekly or monthly basis, ensuring coverage at all times. Availability for overtime and on-call work may be required based on business needs.
