Job Title:

Data Engineering Professional

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipeline.

This position involves working closely with data product managers and architects to ensure the availability and quality of data for analysis, daily operations, reporting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Scalable Data Pipelines: Develop and implement efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
  • Maintain Existing Data Systems: Optimize and maintain existing data systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Develop Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to data architecture, metadata, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Continuously update your skills and knowledge on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve data engineering practices.
  • Contribute to Knowledge Base: Share your expertise as one of the key experts in data management to contribute to the overall knowledge base.
  • Participate in Design Processes: Collaborate in design processes for initiatives within the organization to drive innovation and growth.
  • Initiate Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and propose continuous improvement programs within your domain.
  • Support Specific Domains: Provide support for specific domains, including incident management and problem management with root cause analysis.
  • Review Code: Ensure code is maintained according to best practices established within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake / DBT.
