Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Leadership Opportunity to join our accounting team. This is a key role within the accounting team, responsible for providing high-level support to senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial close process for corporate entities and international subsidiaries, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheets/income statements.
  • Oversee the performance of the GL team and work with senior management on cash flow reporting.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the AP team regarding accounting transactions.
  • Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll, benefits, accrued income taxes, and all other accrued liabilities.
  • Prepare, record, and reconcile long-term debt accounts such as notes payable, deferred financing fees, and accrued interest.
  • Perform intercompany elimination, allocations, and consolidations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and analytical skills, including vLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial role.
  • Understanding of internal control concepts.
  • Significant experience with payroll, cash, and capitalized software.

  • Intercompany accounting and transactions.

This role reports to senior management and plays a key role in the annual financial audit, including external audits, tax provisions, and sales tax audits.
