Financial Operations Manager

This position entails overseeing the accounting and finance functions across a group of companies. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Manage month-end closing for multiple entities in NetSuite and QuickBooks.
- Prepare and file multi-state sales taxes. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in computing sales commissions.
- Process payroll bi-monthly. Issue timely financial statements and management reports.
- Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Supervise AR/AP clerks. Maintain reconciliations (bank, credit card, accruals, deposits).
- At least 5 years of experience as a Controller/Accounting Manager.
- Proficiency in NetSuite (hands-on, not just end-user).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax.
- Experience supervising accounting staff.
- A practical and execution-driven individual who can manage day-to-day details while driving process and system improvements as the company scales.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Experience with import/landed cost accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
