Job Title: SEO Content Editor

We are seeking a skilled SEO Content Editor to refine and enhance blog content, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and client alignment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company that helps websites improve their Google performance. If you're a detail-oriented language lover with an understanding of SEO and AP style, you'll thrive in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities:
  • Edit AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy.
  • Strategically add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience.
  • Ensure all client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately and consistently represented.
  • Select and insert appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes.
  • Maintain a high standard of content quality, adhering to project guidelines and client expectations.
  • Edit 3-4 articles per hour while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content.
  • Strong understanding and application of Associated Press (AP) style guidelines.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a meticulous eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
  • Strong language skills with a genuine passion for language and a natural wordsmithing ability.
  • Proficiency with Grammarly.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively with excellent written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, preferably aligning with EST for easier collaboration.
Benefits:
