Job Title

Research Analyst Position:

As a research analyst, your primary responsibility is to conduct thorough research and provide accurate final deliverables in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive research using online resources to gather information regarding vesting titles, surface titles, or mineral titles.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding research requirements and document examination.
  • Examine documents provided by team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter data into reports using Microsoft Office software.
  • Prepare visual aids, such as flowcharts and Plats & Deed Plots, to facilitate understanding of complex information.
  • Review and correct work performed by other team members to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Deliver final reports to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures when working with CityVerse and other software.
  • Perform title obligations consistent with industry standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as history, political science, or research.
  • Strong background in conducting extensive research and possessing keen attention to detail.
  • Sufficient knowledge to access online records and review documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Possesses good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to assume additional responsibilities and work in a team environment.
  • Maintains regular attendance and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable in oil and gas mineral title and surface title requisites in various states.
  • Background in working with U.S.-based companies, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is highly valued.
  • Experience as a title agent or land title researcher is a plus.
