Job Title: Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, data entry, and GRID database management to ensure accurate, secure, and usable reporting across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for database usage questions at the project level, providing expert guidance and support to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Determine whether issues should be escalated to GRID Support and coordinate accordingly, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure data points align with client requirements and coordinate with GRID support for custom reports, delivering high-quality insights that drive business decisions.
  • Identify required data points for each project and establish data entry and reporting workflows, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with a strong foundation in data analysis and management principles.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data entry, database administration, or data support roles, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and reliable results.
  • Familiarity with report generation and data exports/imports, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify data inconsistencies; excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to stakeholders.
