About the Proposal Coordinator Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our estimating team, ensuring the timely preparation and submission of bid documents. This includes managing all aspects of proposal submissions, from organizing documents to coordinating deadlines.

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of comprehensive proposals for various construction projects.
  • Verify that all project submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with the client's requirements.

Bid Preparation and Submission:

  • Manage and maintain an organized system for all bid-related documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and other related materials.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with submission guidelines.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the project manager, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information and facilitate the preparation of high-quality bids.
  • Independently manage workload calendars for assigned regions.
  • Extremely organized and meet workload demands and goals.
  • Track customer contacts and bidding progress for assigned projects.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings is also beneficial.
  • Proven multitasking abilities, as well as proficiency in email organization using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Highest levels of attention to detail to produce high-quality documents under pressure.
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual who works well within a team environment.
  • Strong desire to deliver exceptional results and please clients.
