Debt Collector Specialist

A debt collection specialist is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, live chats, emails, and text messages from current borrowers to negotiate the collection of outstanding accounts.
Main Responsibilities:- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Negotiate with customers to collect outstanding accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members to find solutions for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers.
- Collections experience: 3-5 years in collections, preferably in a contact center environment.
- Sales knowledge: Background in sales is an asset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position involves working with customers to understand their financial situations and develop strategies to recover outstanding accounts. It requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
