Job Overview

As a senior UI/UX designer, you will lead the end-to-end design of both a consumer-facing aged care mobile app and a platform for healthcare professionals and systems.

Key to this role is designing user-friendly, scalable solutions that cater to diverse user groups, particularly older adults.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams to deliver designs that are accessible, usable, and meet business objectives.

With a strong focus on research and analysis, you will drive design decisions that balance user needs with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of UI/UX delivery from strategy through execution\
  • Design a consumer-facing aged care mobile app and a platform for health systems and healthcare professionals\
  • Conduct design research and user analysis to understand diverse user groups, especially older adults\
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical teams to deliver user-friendly, scalable solutions\
  • Drive design decisions that balance user needs with business goals

Requirements

\

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer with:

\
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design\
  • At least 2 years designing health or medical tech products\
  • Experience designing for older adults (ages 65 to 80) with a strong focus on accessibility and usability\
  • A portfolio showcasing clean, custom work (no Canva templates)
