Medical Transcription Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing live patient calls and dictations from clients in Dermatology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from client specifically in Dermatology
  • Convert audio file and download to express scribe
  • Transcribe within 24 hours all the files received during the day
  • Ensure 98% to 100% accuracy in the transcription of the audio file sent by the client
  • Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering the data in visit note to avoid errors
  • Enter data in EMR Visit Note once proofreading is completed
  • Notify the client after the completion of entering data in IMS Visit Note
  • Complete all dictations for the day from the client
  • Perform additional tasks that are dependent on the client's requests
  • Complete note during encounter incorporating essential elements as dictated by provider
  • Complete prescriptions dictated by provider and send them electronically

Requirements:

  • Must be a Medical Allied Graduate
  • At least 1 year experience in Dermatology Transcription
  • Good attention to detail
  • Typing speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy in transcription
  • Good listening, comprehension, and research skills
  • Good English grammar and pronunciation both oral and written
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminologies
  • Ability to focus and concentrate with little distraction
