Job Description

We are seeking a skilled content editor to refine and enhance our blog content, ensuring it meets high standards for quality, accuracy, and client alignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO principles and be proficient in editing AI-generated content.

This role involves:

  • Content Enhancement: Edit AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy.
  • SEO Integration: Strategically add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience.
  • Client Alignment: Ensure all client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately and consistently represented.
  • Visual Integration: Select and insert appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text.
  • Proofreading: Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of content quality, adhering to project guidelines and client expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content.
  • AP Style proficiency and strong understanding of Associated Press style guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
  • Strong language skills and a genuine passion for language.
  • Proficiency in Grammarly and ability to work efficiently.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
