Job Description:

Overview: As an IT Support Specialist at LinearWorks Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installation, integration, security, and software updates on a regular basis.
  • Plan for and respond to service outages and other issues with senior/mentor teams.
  • Design and manage networks, troubleshoot problems, implement backup systems, maintain documentation, ensure security, and educate users.
  • Safeguard administrator passwords and be accountable for their security.
  • Provide technical support for email, file server, and communication issues via remote or face-to-face assistance.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware and software specifications.
  • Support Company Property Asset Inventory, Audits, and tagging processes.
  • Help individual users overcome computer system difficulties, provide instructions, training, diagnose common problems, and offer solutions.
  • Regularly report project implementation status, issues, and strategic enhancements to immediate superiors.
  • Participate in corporate quality, productivity, continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives.
  • Practice Occupational Safety and Health principles, ensure 5S in your area, and contribute to environmental activities.
  • Work towards achieving MIS Targets and Quality Objectives.
  • Analyze root causes and propose corrective actions for non-conformances.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of network design, management, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
