Job Description

As our Financial Compliance Specialist:

  1. Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.

  2. Review complex income and other tax returns and processes.

  3. Identify and mitigate tax risks on all government agencies and prepare position paper.

  4. Review financial data, identify transaction processes and maintain tax files and provide updates.

  5. Assist in preparation of the requirements for external audits and prepare reports to support Company plans.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent experience.

  • Background in General Accounting, Bookkeeping and Auditing.

  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Strong understanding of tax regulations and filing procedures.

  • Knowledge in Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance in the Philippines.

  • CPA is a plus but not required.
