Job Opportunity: Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and WordPress development.

This role offers the flexibility to work from home or a shared workspace, with a requirement of a 4 hour UK timezone crossover for collaboration.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for working on website and WooCommerce related plugins, collaborating with a small global team involved in development and testing.

  • Collaborate with the team on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvements
  • Work in PHP, JavaScript and WordPress libraries to write clean, efficient and secure code
  • Write inline documentation for your code
  • Test and produce testing guides for your code
  • Manage your own time to fulfil your tasks
  • Research / debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support team

You'll definitely need experience with:

  • PHP - with experience of the latest frameworks and libraries
  • WordPress plugin development
  • WooCommerce development

It would be nice if you have experience with:

  • JavaScript / jQuery
  • GitHub / GitLab / Git - nice to have, but can be learnt quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN
  • React
