The SAP HCM Data Consultant Role

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
    • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Analytics.
    • 3+ years working with SAP HCM data.
    • Involved in at least 2 SAP HCM implementation projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Data modeling and database management.
    • SQL, JavaScript, and Python programming.
    • Proficiency in ETL and data-wrangling concepts.
    • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and database tools (Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
    • Expertise in SAP HCM (Personnel Admin, Org Management, Payroll, and Time Management).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Quick adaptability to changing business environments.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Manage and optimize data within the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
  • Data Analysis and Recommendations: Provide data analysis and recommendations that support the preparation and migration of HR data to the new platform/system.
  • Data Visualization: Use data visualization tools for reporting.
  • Data Roadmaps: Build data product roadmaps and provide recommendations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance on data pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and technical leads for project completion.
  • Data Dictionaries: Create data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams and conduct data analysis.
