Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Database Script Engineer. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support our business operations.

Your primary focus will be on developing and optimizing database scripts to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement database schemas to support business operations
  • Develop and optimize database scripts to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
  • Maintain and improve database performance and security
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions into larger applications
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB in AWS RDS environments
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance
  • Familiarity with Java-based ORMs and their impact on schema design
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant environments, ideally using schema-per-customer models
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python)
