At Hunter's Hub Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Disposal Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the secure and compliant disposal of IT assets that are no longer in use across all client sites.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of related experience and expertise in asset inventory management. Your primary objective will be to ensure the proper handling of data and environmental compliance throughout the disposal process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create a project plan with clear timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with teams (IT, Site Facilities, Finance, internal and Vendors) for asset inventory and disposal preparation.
  • Work with approved IT Asset Disposal vendors and ensure they comply with data security and recycling standards.
  • Ensure secure data destruction (e.g., wiping or shredding) before disposal and keep all certificates of destruction and compliance records.
  • Oversee asset collection, tagging, and transfer to disposal vendors, track disposal progress, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide updates on project status to stakeholders and submit final reports with disposal records and financial summaries.

Deliverables will include:

  • Detailed asset inventory for disposal.
  • Certificates of data destruction and recycling.
  • Final project report.
