Job Overview

The Reservations Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, leveraging industry-leading reservation solutions and championing IHG brand behaviors.

This dynamic individual will be empowered to make creative decisions, utilizing tools and market insight to cater to the unique travel needs of our guests.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide a top-notch reservation solution in multiple languages for all contacts.
  • Embody IHG brand values by demonstrating expertise, enthusiasm, and pride.
  • Cultivate a global mindset, embracing cultural diversity and catering to diverse business needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined performance expectations as set by management.
  • Develop strong rapport with guests through active listening and a conversational approach, delivering a warm and friendly guest experience.
  • Inspire loyalty through personalized and efficient service driven by the guest's needs.
  • Utilize creativity to proactively find solutions, taking accountability and soliciting ideas and feedback from others.

This role requires a highly motivated and adaptable individual who can navigate complexities and deliver results-driven outcomes.

Requirements:

A secondary school or high school diploma is preferred but not required. Previous call center experience in a sales capacity or other call handling experience is preferred.

Hotel/travel experience is desired. Strong customer service and sales skills are essential, along with the ability to balance sales with service. Bilingual communication skills and social intelligence are also vital.
