Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team. This is a key role within our actuarial function, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science and related fields.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing complex actuarial models, maintaining and running valuation models for financial reporting, and analyzing reserve and risk calculations to provide insights to management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior actuary to take on a leadership role and mentor junior team members, as well as contribute to the growth and development of our actuarial function.
Key Responsibilities:- Actuarial Modeling: Develop and test advanced actuarial models using GGY Axis or other software, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Valuation and Reporting: Maintain and run valuation models for monthly/quarterly reserve calculation and financial reporting, providing high-quality results and analysis.
- Risk Analysis: Analyze reserve, capital, and risk calculations to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Actuarial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of various actuarial concepts and their application to life insurance – probability, interest theory, life contingencies.
- Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
