About the Role:

TPS Shared Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Horticultural Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas.
• Plant, water, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Prune and trim plants to promote healthy growth and appearance.
• Remove weeds, debris, and litter from garden areas.
• Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Monitor plant health and report any issues to the Facility Manager.
• Assist in the design and layout of new garden areas as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff to support landscaping projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in gardening or landscaping is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
