About the Role

The position involves serving as a subject matter expert for a portfolio of enterprise accounts. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, training peers, and contributing to reference documentation.

Successful candidates will have advanced knowledge in SEP and Galaxy technologies, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key performance indicators include resolving technical issues efficiently, meeting customer expectations, and continually improving technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide remote assistance to customers via ticketing systems
    • Reproduce reported issues using tools like minikube and docker-compose
    • Identify root causes and provide solutions
    • Open bug reports and feature requests
  • Training and Enablement:
    • Conduct regular training sessions for peers
    • Develop and maintain reference documentation
    • Collaborate with content teams to enhance training materials
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
    • Attend conferences and workshops to expand knowledge
    • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical support experience
  • Advanced knowledge in Big Data, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies
  • Expertise in security authentication (LDAP, OAuth2.0) and authorization technologies
  • Strong Linux skills and familiarity with DBMS concepts
